Global Advertising
Easily use Studio’s drag-and-drop editor to publish and repurpose advertisements and promotions quickly and efficiently across your events.
When you click on the Advertising tab on the left panel of StreamLayer Studio, you can configure the branding and advertising associated within each feature. For each of the features (Twitter, Stats, Messaging, Watch Party, etc.), you can change the sponsor assets and frequency of display for all of the various sponsorship elements, including:
- Interstitials {320px x 480px in an mp4 format}
- Header {100 px by 36 px, and a maximum size of 1.2 MB}
These global advertisement settings will apply to all feature overlays across all events. within your organization.
Interstitial
Interstitial ads appear when a user selects a feature from the menu button. Before the feature opens an animated sponsored unit will play and then dissolve into the feature. The frequency of interstitials can be adjusted in Studio so that they can appear upon every open of a feature or only upon every so many opens. Please follow the recommended dimensions (320px x 480px in an mp4 format) when uploading sponsor elements. You can also set the background color.
Header
These static ads (pictured below) appear at the top of an Overlay. Recommended image sizes for Header advertising are 100 px by 36 px, and a maximum size of 1.2 MB. Supported formats are image / svg+xml / png / jpeg.
Our Watch Party features allows for 2 additional advertising types:
- WP Launch
- WP Bug
Watch Launch Screen
This advertisement runs at the start of each Watch Party. The Watch Launch image is 385x70px with a recommended size of 1.2 MB. The supported imaged formats are svg and png.
Watch Party Bug
Each Watch Party can also be accompanied by a persistent Watch Party Bug, an ad unit that sits next to users' thumbnail images when in a Watch Party. When a user moves the thumbnails around the screen, the bug will follow. The Watch Party bugs are 60 x 20px with a recommended size of 1.2 MB. The supported imaged formats are svg, png, and jpeg.
