Live Stats
Note: This feature is only available on mobile applications (iOS, Android, React Native) and web.
On CTV platforms, interactive features are not supported directly, but you can enable a second screen setup so viewers can participate from their phone while watching on TV.
The amount of stats being generated for players and games is exploding, but only a small percentage make it into the production broadcast and livestream. As a result, viewers often find themselves exiting the video stream to find interesting stats and miss any action that occurs while they’re gone. With StreamLayer, a wealth of statistical information is available about any game, allowing fans to dive deep into the stats without ever leaving the video.
StreamLayer will integrate to the preferred data provider(s) and then render the desired information - completely in sync with the game video. Similar to all of StreamLayer’s features, data is synced to the video through time stamps, ensuring that no viewer is spoiled by stats, odds, or any other notification that spoils in-game action before they see it on their screen. The client can determine how much detail to display— from summary stats to detailed play-by-play and advanced analytics. Once StreamLayer has connected its back-end API hub to the stats engines, the StreamLayer overlays can be utilized to visually render more sophisticated Next-Gen stats and information.
